Consulting questions, answered
Eight questions the firm is asked most often, grouped into three categories and answered in full. Every answer states the position in its first sentence.

Service
01 Which service should a business start with?
Most businesses start with the AI readiness review or a single strategy decision session. The review suits a business with several ideas and no clear order to take them in; the session suits one specific question that needs an outside view. Each description on the Services page states what the service covers and what it leaves out, and where two still look equally suitable, the contact form can name both and the firm will say which scope fits and why.
02 Are the displayed prices final?
Published prices apply to the stated scope and to nothing else. A figure without a qualifier is the price for that scope. A price marked from is a starting figure, and the confirmed figure is agreed in writing, after a short scoping conversation, before any work begins. Software licences that a recommendation involves are paid by the business directly to the provider and are never marked up.
03 What should a business prepare before a first conversation?
A plain description of the process or decision in question, a list of the software tools already in use and, where reporting is involved, the names of the reports people rely on. Nothing confidential is needed at this stage. Client records, passwords and customer data should never be sent through the website form; where the work later needs access, the firm agrees a secure method in writing first.
04 Does the firm build or sell AI software?
No. Meridian Loop Advisory sells no software of its own and accepts no referral fees or commissions from software vendors. Where a tool is recommended, the business buys it directly. Automation work is built inside software the business already owns or has chosen, and it is documented so that the business can maintain it or move it to another provider.
Still not sure
If the four answers above have not settled it, the contact form is quicker than reading further. Name the two services under consideration and the firm will say which scope fits the question.
Contact
05 Does the website complete a booking?
No. The Book buttons and the contact form send an enquiry, and nothing on this website confirms an appointment. A reply comes by email, or by telephone if a number is given, during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A session or workshop is confirmed only once a date has been agreed in writing.
06 How are changes or cancellations handled?
A confirmed session or workshop can be moved once without charge with at least two working days’ notice. For the automation sprint and the reporting cleanup, the written scope states which stages count as complete and what is invoiced if the work stops early. Fractional advisory runs month to month after the three-month minimum and ends with one month’s written notice.

07 How is confidential business data handled?
Only the data a piece of work actually needs is requested, and the method for sharing it is agreed in writing before anything is sent. The firm works inside the client’s own systems wherever possible rather than copying data out, does not enter client information into public AI tools and removes any access it was given when the engagement ends. The Privacy page covers the website forms.
08 Is the work done on site or remotely?
Both. Interviews, mapping sessions and workshops can be held at the office in Columbus, at the client’s premises within the Columbus area or by video call. Most build and reporting work is done remotely inside the client’s own systems. The written scope names where each part of the engagement takes place.
