One office on the wharf, one appointment at a time

Wrenfield Yacht Showroom opened on Chandlery Wharf to handle a small number of viewings properly and to publish what each service costs. This page explains how that works and where it stops.

The approach, in three acts

  • 01 Welcome
  • 02 Method
  • 03 What to expect
  1. Act 01

    Welcome

Wrenfield Yacht Showroom is one office and a berth on Chandlery Wharf, and it runs one appointment at a time. Nothing starts with a contract: the date, the service and the size of the party are named in a message, and a written reply confirms the amount before anything is held. A date can be held for seven days at no charge.

  2. Act 02

    Method

The broker reads the paperwork first and goes aboard second. Survey history, engine hours and any known faults are set out on the table before a buyer steps onto the deck, and questions are answered from the documents rather than from memory. Prices sit beside each scope on the Services page: three are final, two carry a “from” figure and one is quoted in writing, and the exact amount is confirmed before anything is agreed.

  3. Act 03

    What to expect

A buyer should expect to be told what a boat will not do. A cruiser that suits a calm bay will not suit an offshore passage, and the showroom says so in the first reply rather than at the end of a sea trial. Questions about access, survey and the size of the party are answered in writing, and a reply arrives during opening hours.

Three operating principles

  1. Publish the price

Every service carries a figure on this website. A “from” price is the lowest price for the stated scope, never an opening bid.

  2. Say what a boat will not do

A boat that does not fit the use described is said so in the first reply. The showroom does not arrange a trial it expects to waste.

  3. Confirm before holding

A message is an enquiry. Nothing is held until a person at the showroom has replied and named the date, the scope and the price.

The four steps of an enquiry

  1. Read the scope and the price

The Services page states what each service includes and what it costs.

  2. Send one message

Name the service, the date and the size of the party. A telephone number is optional.

  3. Read the reply

The showroom answers during opening hours, confirms the scope and states the exact price.

  4. Agree the appointment

Only then is the date set aside, and the confirmation comes in writing.

What the showroom does not do

Expectations

The showroom is closed on Monday and closes at 4:00 PM on Sunday, and it does not run appointments outside those hours. It does not publish stock, does not quote a sale price on this website, and does not hold a date without a written reply. A sea trial takes up to eight people aboard. This website sends messages and shows prices; it does not confirm an appointment.

Contact

Ask before a first viewing rather than on the day

Access needs, survey questions and the size of the party are all answered in writing. A reply comes during opening hours.

Or write to hello@wrenfieldyachts.example and the showroom replies during opening hours.
