The people at the spa

Four people run Stillwater Day Spa: two treatment specialists, a restorative services specialist and a guest care coordinator. The photographs beside each profile show the rooms and the things kept in them, not the person described.

  • Folded white towels topped with a rose beside a bright window.

    Nadia Okonjo

    Skin care specialist

Nadia Okonjo has worked in day spas since 2012 and takes most of the restorative facial appointments at Stillwater. She talks through the cleanse, the exfoliation and the mask at the start, names every product before it is used and changes the plan when skin is sensitive or already reacting. Guests comparing facial options, or mentioning a new prescription or a recent peel, are usually booked with her.

  • Aromatherapy reeds standing in a small bottle on a pale stone surface.

    Elias Moreau

    Body care specialist

Elias Moreau carries out the body polish and relaxation massage appointments and sets up the larger treatment room each morning. Pressure and positioning are agreed before the door closes, he checks in once during the hour rather than talking through it, and he will shorten or skip an area on request. He is careful to describe the massage as a relaxation service, never as treatment for an injury.

  • A glass reed diffuser on a plain surface, photographed from a short distance.

    Saoirse Quinn

    Restorative services specialist

Saoirse Quinn takes the shorter services: the scalp ritual with warm oil and the foot renewal soak. She says at the start what each one covers and what it deliberately does not, so nobody arrives expecting nail cutting or callus work at a foot appointment, and she writes the aftercare note herself. Guests with an hour or less, or booking a first visit to see how the rooms feel, are usually booked with her.

  • A massage couch made up with clean linen in a quiet, low-lit treatment room.

    Harriet Vance

    Guest care coordinator

Harriet Vance answers the telephone and the contact form, confirms which of the six services fits and what it costs, and records accessibility needs, quiet-room preferences and anything a specialist should know before a guest arrives. She holds the quiet-hour room herself so nothing is booked over it. Ask for her when two services seem equally suitable or when a visit needs planning before a time is agreed.

What the rooms cover

Together, these four roles cover every service on the list. Mention a preferred role or service in the contact form; the front desk will reply with the options and times that are genuinely available.

Ask about a service

The name of a service and a rough time range is enough to start. Stillwater Day Spa replies with the hours that are actually open.

Quiet notes

An occasional email about opening hours and what the rooms are offering. One address, nothing else, and it stops the moment it is asked to.
