Six florist services, each with the scope it covers, how long it takes and the price it starts at. A price written as from is a floor and not an estimate; the estimate is confirmed once the season and the size are known.

Hand-tied bouquet
from $55
A bouquet spiralled in the hand so that every stem sits at the same angle, then tied at one point, trimmed level and wrapped to travel. Sizes run from a small posy to a two-handed sheaf, and the colour brief is agreed before anything is cut. Allow about forty-five minutes at the bench once the stems have been conditioned.
Suits a gift, a birthday or any occasion where the flowers are handed over rather than placed.

Vase arrangement
from $75
Stems arranged into a vase the studio supplies, built on a grid of foliage so the shape holds for the life of the flowers and reads from every side rather than from one front only. The vase is included in the price and the arrangement leaves the studio already watered. Allow about an hour at the bench.
Suits a table, a reception desk or a home where nobody wants to go looking for a vase.

Sympathy tribute
from $85
A tribute built to the funeral director's timing, in the form agreed with the family: a sheaf laid flat, a based tribute or an arrangement for the graveside. Card wording is read back and confirmed before it is written out, and delivery is made to the chapel rather than to the house unless asked otherwise. Allow about an hour and a quarter.
Suits a funeral, a memorial or an anniversary where the flowers must arrive at a fixed hour.

The spiral bind. Every stem meets the binding point at the same angle and leaves it at the same angle, which is why a hand-tied bouquet stands on its own stems in a vase and why the work is measured from the tie rather than from the flower heads. -
Weekly flower subscription
from $40
A fresh arrangement made up each week from whatever is strongest in the buckets, against a standing colour brief agreed at the start. The studio swaps the container out on each visit and takes the previous week's away, so nothing has to be emptied or washed at the other end. Billed per delivery and paused on request.
Suits a counter, a studio or a home that wants flowers without placing an order each week.

Wedding and event consultation
$45
A booked forty-five minutes covering what the date allows, what will be in season by then, how many arrangements the room actually needs and where the flowers have to be and by when. It ends in a written outline with a figure against each piece. The fee is set against the order if the work goes ahead.
Suits a wedding, a party or a launch that needs more than one arrangement.

Same-week order assessment
$20
An examination of the order and the date, ending in a plain yes or no on whether the flowers can be sourced and built in the time left, and what it would cost at that speed. A no is given at this point rather than discovered on the morning itself.
Suits an order wanted sooner than the usual three days of notice allows.

A reply with a date and a figure
The studio replies with what is in season for that date and what the work is likely to cost within the stated scope.

The brief is confirmed in writing
Colours, size, date and price are agreed in writing before any flowers are bought in against the order.
If two services look equally right
A vase arrangement and a hand-tied bouquet can suit the same occasion, and the difference is only whether the flowers are handed over or placed. Sending the occasion and the room through the contact form settles it faster than choosing from this page.
