How coaching works

Coaching begins with the numbers a client already has, not with a product to buy. Ledgerleaf Money Coaching teaches budgeting, debt repayment planning and saving habits; it does not sell investments, insurance or loans, does not prepare tax returns and does not give legal advice. Where a question needs a licensed adviser, an accountant or an attorney, the coach says so and explains what kind of professional to look for.

The desk, the paper and the plan

Photographs of the plain working materials of a money plan: notebooks, coins, a savings jar and a laptop. None shows a real client or a real account.

  • Stacks of coins rising in height across a table.
Small amounts, added regularly, are what a savings line is built from.
  • A glass savings jar holding coins, with a handwritten note beside it.
A savings jar and a note: the first goal is usually a modest one.
  • A white work table with handwritten notes, a smartphone and a laptop.
Notes, a phone and a laptop: the whole kit for a first session.

Who does the coaching

Three coaches and a client coordinator share the studio. These two profiles introduce the coaches most first sessions are booked with.

  • A person using a laptop while holding a telephone receiver, face out of frame.

    Renata Okafor

    Lead money coach

Leads first money sessions and spending plan builds, working from the client’s own statements and saying plainly when a question needs a licensed professional.

  • A professional working on a laptop in a bright office, cropped below the face.

    Daniel Whitcombe

    Debt repayment coach

Runs debt payoff plans and couples money sessions, turning a pile of balances into one payoff order a monthly budget can carry.

What clients have said

  • The first session went through everything without judgement, and I left with a one-page summary and three next steps instead of a sales pitch.

    Alicia M.

  • The debt payoff plan put every balance on one page. The coach was clear the timeline depended on sticking to it, and the sheet still works for me.

    Trevor N.

  • The fee in the first reply was the fee I paid. Nobody tried to sell me an investment, an insurance policy or a longer programme.

    Bethany O.

Asked often

How should a client choose a session?

Start with the six session descriptions and prices. When two look equally suitable, a short note through the contact form describing the situation is enough for the coordinator to suggest one.

Are the published prices the whole fee?

Yes. Each price covers the session or sessions described, including the written notes. No commission is earned from any bank, lender or product provider, and nothing is added at the end.

What should a first-time client bring?

Recent bank and card statements, a list of debts with balances and minimum payments, and a rough idea of monthly income help most. A first money session still works from estimates if paperwork is hard to gather.

Can a client ask for a particular coach?

Yes. Name the preferred coach in the contact form; the coordinator confirms that coach’s availability in the reply.

Ask about a session

A short note about the money question and a rough time range is enough to start. Ledgerleaf Money Coaching replies with the session that fits and the times that are actually open.

An occasional email with one practical budgeting idea and any change to the studio hours. One address, nothing else, and it stops the moment it is asked to.
