Questions, answered plainly

Eight questions in three groups: choosing a service, getting in touch, and the practical parts of an appointment.

Service

About the work itself

How should a visitor choose a service?

Start with the service descriptions and the fees on the services page. Contact the agency when two of them appear equally suitable.

Are the published fees final?

A published fee applies to the scope printed beneath it. A fee shown as a percentage or beginning with “from” is confirmed in writing before an instruction is signed.

Is a market appraisal visit the same as a valuation?

No. It is a marketing opinion prepared for an owner deciding whether to go to market. A valuation for lending, tax or probate purposes must come from a qualified valuer or surveyor, and the agency does not carry one out.

Can the agency say what a property will be worth later?

No. Halstead Row Property does not forecast values, does not describe a property as an investment and does not advise on whether to buy or sell. It reports the comparable evidence it has and leaves the decision with the client.

A question that is not on this page can go straight to the agency. The contact form sends it and books nothing. Send a question instead.

Contact

Getting in touch and what happens next

Does the website complete a booking?

No. The website sends a contact request or directs the visitor to the configured Book destination; it does not confirm an appointment.

How are changes or cancellations handled?

Use the published telephone number or contact form. The agency confirms any change directly.

Practical

Fees, changes and privacy

What does a first enquiry need to include?

The address of the property, what the enquiry is about and a rough timeframe. That is enough for the agency to say which of the six services fits and what it would cost.

Where can privacy information be found?

The Privacy page explains what the contact and subscribe forms collect, why it is collected and how to request removal.

A question about a service, a property or a fee

The contact form takes a question and sends it to the agency. Book goes to the arrangements page; neither one confirms a time by itself.
