Eight questions, answered plainly
Grouped by what the question is about: choosing and paying for a service, getting in touch, and how a first appointment actually runs.
Service
About the work itself
How should a visitor choose a service?
Start with the consultation. It costs nothing, takes twenty minutes and ends with a written note naming the service, the time it needs and the price it would be booked at. Anyone who already knows what they want can book the service directly instead.
Are the displayed prices final?
The published price applies to hair of average length and density. Long, very thick or previously coloured hair can need more product or more time, and where that applies the salon says so at the consultation and confirms the figure before the appointment is made.
Is a colour service suitable for every visitor?
No. A strand test is taken whenever box colour, henna or a previous lightener is in the hair. If that test shows the hair will not take the colour safely, the salon says so and suggests a gentler route, usually a gloss now and a colour appointment later.
Contact
Getting in touch and what happens next
Can a visitor request a particular stylist?
Yes. The contact form has a message field, and naming a stylist there is enough. Availability is confirmed separately, and if that stylist is fully booked the salon offers the next date rather than moving the appointment to somebody else without asking.
If the question is not here, the contact form reaches the salon directly and an answer does not require an appointment. Send a question instead.
Does the website complete a booking?
No. The form sends an enquiry to the salon and a person answers it. A date is held only once that reply has been sent and agreed, which is also when the length of the appointment is confirmed.
How are changes or cancellations handled?
A message or a telephone call at least twenty-four hours before the appointment moves or cancels it at no cost. Shorter notice is taken on the same terms whenever the chair can be filled; colour appointments are the hardest to refill, so earlier notice helps most.
Practical
Prices, preparation and privacy
What should a first-time visitor prepare?
Come with hair as it normally is rather than freshly straightened, and bring photographs of what is wanted and of anything that went wrong before. Knowing which products are used at home is useful, and so is the name of any colour applied in the last year.
Where can privacy information be found?
The privacy page lists what the contact and subscribe forms collect, how long the salon keeps it and how to ask for its removal. Photograph credits for every image on this site are printed at the foot of the same page.
