Flowers that tell you what they cost first

Fern & Marigold Flowers publishes what every service covers and what it costs, then confirms both before a single stem is cut.

Cut flowers and foliage laid out along a florist's bench, with ribbon and cards in the drawer below.
Every order is conditioned and built on the bench, never pulled ready-made from a bucket.

Three of the six

Every service has a written scope and a published price. The three below are the ones most first orders start with; the full six are on the services page.

  • Hand-tied bouquet

Seasonal stems tied in the hand, spiralled and finished to carry.

    from $55

  • Vase arrangement

Stems conditioned and built into a vessel the customer keeps.

    from $75

  • Market bunch

A wrapped bunch of whatever is best in the buckets that morning.

    $28

How Fern & Marigold Flowers works

The stems are checked first, the scope and the price are confirmed out loud, and the work is reported against that scope afterwards. An order that turns out to need more than the agreed service is re-quoted, never quietly upgraded.

The shop, the buckets and the bench

Three photographs from the bench, with a factual caption on each. None of them is presented as an order completed by Fern & Marigold Flowers.

  • Wildflowers and trailing greenery arranged loosely in a tall glass vase on a tiled floor.
A loose, garden-style vase arrangement, built to be read from every side.
  • A single open white peony surrounded by yellow and lilac wildflowers, laid on pale gravel.
One open peony carries a whole hand-tied bunch, and the rest is chosen around it.
  • A bouquet of pink roses and red astilbe held between two people, both faces out of frame.
A wedding bouquet, finished on the morning of the day it is carried.

The people who do the work

Two of the four florists who work at 112 Ashfield Row. Each concentrates on two of the six services, and a visitor may ask for a particular one through the contact form.

  • Two galvanised buckets of garden roses, sedum and astrantia standing on the workshop bench.

    Rosalind Keefe

    Founder and lead florist

Leads the wedding and sympathy work and takes the consultations where a brief still has to be found. Sets the buying list every market morning, and says plainly when a requested flower will not be worth its price that week.

  • A winter arrangement of pampas grass and a red carnation in a grey pot on a stone step.

    Marcus Oyelaran

    Senior floral designer

Builds the vase arrangements and the larger tributes, and keeps shape and palette consistent across a run of them. Every piece is worked from what the buckets actually hold that morning rather than from a catalogue picture.

What customers have said

  • The florist built the hand-tied bouquet in front of me and explained every choice in plain language.

    Hannah M.

  • The florist listened closely, confirmed the price and made the market bunch easy to understand.

    Dev P.

  • The published information matched the actual conversation. Nothing felt hidden and there was no pressure to add extras.

    Corinne A.

Four questions, answered plainly

How should a visitor choose a service?

Start with the service descriptions and prices. Contact the business when two options appear equally suitable.

Are the displayed prices final?

Published prices apply to the stated scope. Any “from” or custom price requires a confirmed estimate before work begins.

What should a first-time visitor prepare?

Share the date the flowers are for, any colours or flowers to avoid, and the service being considered. The business confirms any additional preparation directly.

Can a visitor request a specific staff member?

Yes. Use the contact form to name a preferred staff member; availability is confirmed separately.

A question about a bouquet, a date or a price

The contact form takes a question and sends it to the shop. Book goes to the ordering page; neither one confirms a date by itself.
