How soon can you start?
Scoping work usually starts within two to three weeks. Site walks depend on the field season and on access being arranged.
What information should I send?
The parcel or tax lot number, the decision you are working toward and any code sections already in play. That is enough to size the work.
Are the listed fees final?
They are starting points. Parcel size, access difficulty and how many code sections apply move the number, and a written estimate comes before work starts.
Can you attend hearings?
Yes, as the author of the work. The practice presents findings and answers questions; it does not act as legal counsel.
Who owns the field data?
You do. Notes, photo logs and data tables are handed over with the report, indexed so someone else can pick them up later.
How is invoicing handled?
A third at the start, a third at the draft, the balance on delivery. Hourly work is billed monthly.
What if the schedule slips?
Weather, site access and hearing calendars all move. Revised dates are confirmed in writing rather than assumed.
